Welcome to Refund Policy
STUDENT ADMISSION, FEE & REFUND POLICY
EDUTECH SKILL ACADEMY
1. PURPOSE OF THE POLICY
This Student Admission, Fee & Refund Policy has been established to clearly define the terms and conditions relating to student admission, registration, course fees, monthly fees, attendance, course discontinuation, fee payment and refunds.
The purpose of this policy is to maintain transparency, administrative discipline and proper financial management of the Institute.
Every student and/or parent/guardian is required to read, understand and accept this policy before completing admission.
2. ADMISSION CONFIRMATION
Admission shall be considered confirmed only after completion of the required admission formalities and payment of the applicable admission/registration/course fee.
Upon confirmation of admission, the Institute may allocate a seat, batch, faculty schedule, computer/laboratory resources, study materials, student records and other academic and administrative resources for the student.
Therefore, cancellation of admission due to the student's personal decision shall ordinarily not create any right to a refund.
3. ADMISSION / REGISTRATION FEE – NON-REFUNDABLE
The Admission Fee, Registration Fee, Enrolment Fee, Processing Fee or any similar admission-related fee paid by the student shall be **NON-REFUNDABLE**, once the admission process has been completed, subject to applicable law.
No refund shall ordinarily be applicable merely because the student:
* changes his/her mind;
* does not wish to continue the course;
* joins another institute;
* relocates to another place;
* has personal or family reasons;
* becomes busy with studies, employment or business;
* is unable to attend classes regularly;
* no longer requires the course;
* selects another course or career option;
* faces a change in personal financial circumstances;
* is influenced by friends, relatives or other persons to discontinue;
* decides that the course is not suitable for him/her.
4. MONTHLY FEE POLICY
4.1. Monthly fees shall be payable according to the fee schedule communicated by the Institute.
4.2. Monthly fees shall not ordinarily be refundable merely because a student does not attend classes.
4.3. If a student remains enrolled in an active batch/course but does not attend classes for personal reasons, the applicable monthly fee shall remain payable unless the Institute has approved a written suspension or other arrangement.
4.4.If a student voluntarily discontinues the course after the commencement of the course, any monthly fee already paid shall ordinarily not be refundable.
4.5. Monthly fees may cover not only physical attendance but also the student's reserved academic seat, batch allocation, faculty planning, computer/laboratory resources, academic administration and other facilities arranged by the Institute.
5. FULL COURSE FEE / ADVANCE PAYMENT
If a student pays the full course fee or any advance amount, such payment shall ordinarily be treated as committed towards the student's enrolment and academic arrangements.
If the student subsequently decides to discontinue the course voluntarily, the unused portion of such payment shall ordinarily not be refundable, subject to applicable law and the Institute's written terms.
6. COURSE DISCONTINUATION BY STUDENT
If a student or parent/guardian voluntarily decides to discontinue the course, the student may be required to submit a written discontinuation request.
Acceptance of discontinuation shall not automatically create any right to refund of:
* Admission Fee;
* Registration Fee;
* Processing Fee;
* Monthly Fee already paid;
* Course Fee already paid;
* Study Material Fee already incurred;
* Other applicable administrative or academic charges.
Any outstanding amount that became due before the effective date of discontinuation shall remain payable, subject to applicable law.
7. ABSENCE FROM CLASS
Absence from class shall not automatically constitute cancellation, suspension or termination of enrolment.
Failure to attend classes does not by itself create a right to a refund or waiver of applicable fees.
Students are responsible for informing the Institute in writing if they require any approved leave, suspension or batch change.
8. BATCH CHANGE / COURSE TRANSFER
A request for batch change, course transfer or course modification may be considered by the Institute on a case-by-case basis.
Approval of such request shall be entirely subject to the availability of seats, academic schedule and Institute rules.
Batch/course transfer shall not automatically entitle the student to a refund.
Any additional fee, administrative charge or fee adjustment applicable to such transfer shall be communicated to the student before approval.
9. STUDY MATERIALS, ID CARD & DIGITAL ACCESS
Where the Institute has provided or arranged:
* Student ID Card;
* Study Materials;
* Books;
* Printed Notes;
* Digital Learning Materials;
* Software Access;
* Laboratory/Computer Access;
* Online Learning Access;
* Examination/Assessment Facilities;
the associated cost or service value shall ordinarily not be refundable merely because the student subsequently decides to discontinue the course.
10. DISCIPLINARY ACTION
The Institute reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of enrolment, where a student violates the Institute's rules, code of conduct, payment terms, laboratory rules, staff conduct requirements or other applicable policies.
Such disciplinary action shall not automatically create a right to refund.
Any action taken by the Institute shall remain subject to applicable law.
11. LATE PAYMENT & OUTSTANDING FEES
Students are required to pay all applicable fees within the prescribed payment period.
In case of delayed payment, the Institute may, subject to applicable law and its published fee terms:
* impose an applicable late fee;
* temporarily suspend class access;
* restrict laboratory/computer access;
* place examination or assessment facilities on hold;
* withhold processing of certificates or other academic documents until outstanding dues are settled, where legally permissible.
Discontinuation of the course does not automatically cancel fees that have already become due.
12. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS, DISCOUNTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
Any discount, scholarship, promotional benefit, concession, free course, complimentary facility or special admission offer shall be subject to its specific terms and conditions.
Promotional benefits shall not ordinarily be convertible into cash or treated as a separate refundable amount.

14. EXCEPTIONAL REFUND CIRCUMSTANCES

A refund or fee adjustment may be considered where:
* the Institute fails to commence a course that was confirmed and paid for;
* the Institute provides a specific written refund commitment;
* a genuine duplicate payment or accounting error has occurred;
* a competent authority legally requires a refund;
* a court or other competent authority issues a binding order;

---
17. MANAGEMENT APPROVAL FOR SPECIAL CASES
Any special request for fee adjustment, transfer, concession, suspension or refund shall require prior written approval from the authorised management of the Institute.
